IMPORTANT UPDATE from Lisa Newland

As of Monday 13/10/2025, I have proudly commenced a new role as Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL).

This appointment reflects my continued commitment to supporting and advancing educational leadership across Australia — a mission that has always been at the heart of my work with Sentis Education.

To ensure transparency and avoid any potential conflict of interest, Sentis Education will now refer all new education-related partnership enquiries and leadership development opportunities to ACEL. This includes assessments, coaching and programs.

If you are an existing client, please rest assured that our current commitments will continue seamlessly, with the same care, quality, and confidentiality you’ve come to expect.

For new enquiries, collaborations, or to learn more about ACEL’s national work, please visit: www.acel.org.au or contact the National Office: leadership@acel.org.au
or phone: 02 8396 0824.

It has been an honour to lead Sentis Education and to work with so many inspiring educators and leaders. I look forward to continuing to serve this community through my new role at ACEL.

Warm regards,
Lisa Newland

Sentis Education

Sentis Education derives its name from the Latin “Securis Mens Mentis”—meaning “Safe Mind.” This philosophy underpins everything we do. Our suite of online, face-to-face, and customised programs are designed to create the optimal conditions for educators and leaders to excel in their work.

At Sentis Education, we use evidence-based neuroscience and psychological concepts to drive meaningful changes in thinking and behaviour, tailored specifically to each client’s goals. Our focus is on the application of learning—ensuring practical transfer rather than theoretical knowledge-building. With extensive experience across educational sectors and locations, we design solutions that not only meet but exceed client expectations.

Testimonials

“There were so many takeaways, but the program really reinforced why I behave in certain ways and the effects this can have in the workplace. It has really made me stop and think about my leadership.
A very useful and relevant experience.”

Education Leader - South East Region, LEAD-Q Leadership Program

“The IMPACT program was certainly inspirational. It has helped me reflect on the role I have been playing in supporting teachers, teacher-aides and the children. Our curriculum has become content-heavy so this program helped me re-focus on the importance of having fun in learning and connecting to the children and their world.”

Deputy Principal - South East Region, IMPACT Program

“This program has really energised me and I am definitely motivated to implement these effective strategies in my teaching and my everyday life.”

“The program with Sentis provided me with insight into the knowledge, skills and tools to increase my capability to respond helpfully and constructively to change, challenge, adversity and other stressors.”

“The program exceeded my expectations and I really like the reframing I have gained through some of the models provided. There have been many ‘aha’ moments!”
